Star Wars Journeys: The Phantom Menace App Reviews

There are some really great things about this game. The podracing is fun and long-awaited, and the art in story mode is fantastic. If youve ever been to Pottermore for the Harry Potter interactive story telling, its a bit like that. I think there could be many more scenes included, however, and within those scenes I wish there was a lot more to discover, instead of just like one character and a couple things that move when you touch them. Other than that, I think its at least a great start.

Many games out there are better for less. $6 for the name and .99¢ worth of game. Pod racing is fun, but thats it in my opinion.

Really, just an average retelling of The Phantom Menace, with an average racing game thrown in. The story is barely interactive, with one or two items per page that can be touched for extra sounds/movements. The art is also lacking, as the characters sometimes dont look like their movie counterparts. Certainly not worth the price. Wait for a sale, even if youre a big fan.

Just a story book with lame pod racing beat it in about 15 min waste of $7 dont buy.

The game is great. Not worth 7$ bucks though. Add more things to the podracing!!! New maps. Customizing the pods. MABEY EVEN CREAT YOUR OWN POD! and of course new courses. Once you do that it will be totally worth 7$

Dont buy it read the reviews first. The 4 stars is fake.

So after spending 7 dollars and waiting forever I play the app and its got no sound. Really not happy. Want my money back. Not cool

I spent 7$ on this app, and when I got it it was pointless for that much, the racing was fun but thats all that was good. Dont buy unless app goes for 2$ or cheaper.

Im so happy too see the pod reaching back in all its grate ness & even better then before. I would love too have the cockpit view back.

Tried all the settings. Buggy. No sound

Game glitches. Cannot fix. All the icons are overlapping making them unreadable. Pod racers are invisible. Typical Star Wars junk app.

Ive completed the 1st tournament multiple times and it never saves when I close the app what a waste of $7.00.

I purchased this game with ok hopes just to have them destroyed basically this app is only good for pod racing and even that is far below par, I highly recommend spending your money else where.

It the worst game ever

I spent some money that doesnt worth. 7us is too much for it. Also, it didnt let me put 1 star to rate it. FAKE from Disney.

I loved Episode 1 Racer for N64 and this game has me amped. The look and play is solid. If you liked the original, or even the riptide games here in the app store, than this game is for you. Lets lobby for more planets to race on! Developers! I really hope this is the start of more podracer to come. There is no other racing game like it. Speed, beautiful landscapes and quality layout. So good. Keep it coming.

If you are a Star Wars fan then you will like this game. It is awesome. The game would be perfect if it worked better. I dont know if it is only my iPod or if it does this on all devices. When I click on something it just blacks out and takes me back to my home screen. I hope in the next update they will fix this so I can actually play the game completely. Please fix the game. Thank you.

The update for 6/2 (v1.2) wont work on my sons iPad. Its a new iPad with iOS 7.1.1. The app wont open; it hangs at "loading assets".

Fixed the issues. So now get a perfect score. Its really is an excellent game. Loved the pod racing game on PC years ago. Nice to have it on my iPhone now.

I would love to get my moneys worth out of this game but I cant play anything! Every time I try to play something on this game it goes to the loading screen then I get booted. Any idea why this is??
